I spent much of the weekend baking, which is one reason I haven’t written. I don’t have time to write now, either, so I offer you a taste of the Russian Tea Cakes, and I promise to share more treats as the week progresses.
Here is one marvelous morsel, not too sweet. And below is the plate full.
The powdered sugar melts on your tongue as you bite into the buttery nutty cookie. Heaven.

I love Russian Tea Cakes! I don’t usually make them, but this year my father gave me a plate full of tea cakes he had baked. It’s such a wonderful tradition… I’m thrilled to see how many other people love these cookies!
