Here’s the latest volley in the carb debate. To quote from the press release from the University of Virginia about a study by its faculty member Glenn Gaesser:
…diets high in carbohydrates are almost universally associated with slimmer bodies. More importantly, Gaesser found that consuming lots of high-glycemic foods is not associated with higher body weights. [...]

Kansas grapes sweet as can be

Imagine my surprise when I picked up a friend’s CSA bag yesterday and confronted a quart box of grapes.
