Chocolate macaroons sound divine for Passover

I’m not Jewish, but I have friends who are. One of them is a serious chocoholic, and he’ll love this recipe for Passover: Chocolate Macaroons with Chocolate or Caramel Filling. For some reason it’s on the Epicurious feed, though the recipe has been around for a while. I’m adding it to my list of recipes to try. If you try it, let me know what you think!

    In addition to this terrific recipe, you can make plain macaroons with one standard size (about 14 oz) package of sweetened coconut, 1 cup of powdered sugar, two egg whites (three if small eggs), form gently as small mounds on parchment or Silpat and bake at 325 for about 20 minutes or until brown. These are delic.
