I agree, Meryl, and Jennifer, I left the price info at my office, but going from memory here, food items ran from $1 (the price of one ticket) for things like corn on the cob and watermelon slices to $6 for a good-size serving of various dishes. I worried it would be expensive but decided to splurge for the holiday, and I wound up giving away my last ticket from the $15 I’d bought, if that gives you any indication.

How much did the food cost? Honestly that was the reason I didn’t go; the GiveBack website never had info on how the money would change hands, or how much it would be. But I think it’s a fantastic idea, and plan on getting a card tomorrow at Checkers.
