Sounds like Kierstin needs to start her own knife set when her aunts give out Christmas gifts! Looks like this young lady has real kitchen possibilities (as well as being photogenic).

I have to confess, I've always bought the taco seasoning packets at the grocery store. I did get some from Penzey's Spice Store in Overland Park (it's wonderful!), too. But I did not realize that the Gourmet cookbook had such a good beef seasoning recipe. Whoda thunk it? Taco salad and Gourmet?
I'm definitely giving this a try.

Hey, Jennifer. I didn't realize your aunt was an Aunt Janet! The difference is my niece brought the goodies, and your aunt did the bringing. (Everyone, click on Jennifer's name to go to her blog and see the peaches they canned.)

Peggy and Joanne, What nice things to say! Many thanks!

You are quite possibly the best aunt ever. Wish I'd had an aunt like that. :) Mmmh. Yum.
